Middle Management Association 's Negotiations Committee reached a tentative agreement with the State of Minnesota on a 2017-2019 Labor Agreement on Friday afternoon, August 18, 2017. The MMA Negotiations Committee will recommend adoption of the tentative agreement to the MMA Board of Directors at a specially scheduled meeting on August 30, 2017. If there is approval by the Board, contract ratification materials, including a letter, summary of the agreement, ratification ballot, details on the settlement and a self-addressed postage return envelope will be mailed out to full members approximately mid-September. Detailed instructions on how to vote will be included in the letter.
If the membership ratifies this tentative agreement it will still need to be presented to the Legislative Subcommittee on Employee Relations for approval before it becomes effective.
The tentative agreement includes wage increases, insurance improvements, substantive agreements in some Agency supplements and some equity adjustments.
