“The Top 10 Mistakes Leaders Make – And How To Avoid Them”–Ted Schick

This keynote is Ted’s signature presentation. A fun and engaging look at the mistakes leaders too often make and more importantly, how to avoid them by sidestepping these common pitfalls. Filled with stories and examples, this presentation is applicable to everyone in the room – from leading ourselves, giving feedback and communicating our vision.

Simply stated, leadership is a position of service. A philosophy-not a leadership style. Servant Leadership is the concept that leadership is not about you but rather putting the people you lead first. In this presentation, we’ll outline and describe the foundation of Servant Leadership to include the 3 assumptions, the 5 ways of Being and the 10 Attributes of what it means to be a Servant Leader.

MMB Staff will discuss the following topics:
      • Pre-Tax Spending Accounts (MDEA, DCEA)
      • Short- & Long-Term Disability
      • Medical – Vision, Dental, Clinics
      • Well-Being Program (Virgin Pulse)
 
“C” Diagnosing and Understanding Conflict – Lt. Nick Witter
An interactive class is geared for finding the root cause of conflict so that we can better deal with it when it comes up.
 
“D” Employee Assistance Program (EAP) –Ned Rousmaniere
To cover Work/Life Services and Workplace Coaching.
