The Legislative session ends May 23, 2022. The state constitution says that the Legislature cannot pass any bills on the last day of the two-year session, so that left Sunday at 11:59pm to get bills passed. There are still a number of bills the Legislature would like to pass. The Governor and Legislative leaders will be discussing the possibility of a special session. The employee contracts were all ratified on Friday, May 21, 2022 and are on the way to the governor to be signed.
