MMA’s bargaining team met with Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) and the mediators on Wednesday, October 20th and Thursday, October 21st. The two sides could not come up with a tentative agreement. There are a number of proposals MMB still has on the table that MMA could never agree to. MMA still has proposals open dealing with deferred comp, adding the Juneteenth Holiday, the pattern general wage adjustment of 2.5% each year of the contract, meal allowance, holiday pay, hours worked, and inequities.
The MMA bargaining team will continue to work on reaching a voluntary settlement with the State and be prepared to go to interest arbitration if necessary.
