The MMA contract has been given interim approval by the Subcommittee on Employee Relations (SER) and is now in effect. The SER met today, January 18, 2022, to consider and vote on the MMA contract as well as three Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) impacting recruiting, retention, and staffing incentives at DOC and DHS. The SER unanimously approved the contract and MOUs. The full legislature will need to vote on the contract this session. Salary increases and retro pay will be processed by MMB in the coming weeks. We will update you when we have more information.
