On Thursday, November 18, 2021, after seven months of intense bargaining and mediation, a tentative agreement (TA) was reached on the 2021-2023 Contract between the Middle Management Association (MMA) and Minnesota Management and Budget. The tentative agreement was approved at a special meeting of the MMA Board of Directors on Friday November 19, 2021.

The MMA bargaining team was able to achieve the following for the membership: 2.5% increases beginning July 1st each year of the contract; adding Juneteenth (June 19) as a holiday; improvements in deferred compensation, meal allowance, holiday pay, hours worked and inequities.

The next step of the process will be to send a complete summary to paying members for voting on the tentative agreement. This round the voting will be electronic and instructions will be sent out along with the summary. The anticipated schedule will be to vote sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks to the MMA Bargaining Team for all of their hard work and to the MMA membership for all of your patience and support throughout the bargaining process.
