MMA Contract Goes Into Effect

Feb 12, 2018 8:18:30 AM

The Tentative Agreement (TA) of the 2017-2019 MMA Contract, ratified by members, was submitted in January to the Subcommittee on Employee Relations (SER). They had 30 days to reject or approve the Contract. Those 30 days have now passed, so the TA of the Contract goes into effect. For the Contract to become permanent, the full legislature must approve them by the end of the session. We do not know, at this time, when or how the health insurance changes will go into effect. MMA will work with Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) on implementing pay increases and other benefits. When implemented there should be both a rate change and retroactive monies back to July 1, 2017. Keep checking our website www.mmamn.org for updates.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Gary Kloos at gkloos@mmamn.org or by 651-605-5100.
